Choosing metallic eye shadow for your New Year’s Eve makeup might feel a bit “florals for spring” – but this season, the classic look is getting an overhaul.

Mix and melt metallics into one another, creating harmony in the imperfection. “Precious metals don’t need to be ‘precious’ when it comes to makeup application,” says Cembellin. “This is the unpolished movement of polished metals.”
