Temporarily Out of Stock / Backordered Items
If an item selected is temporarily out of stock at the time of your order, you will be notified via Email and advised of the expected ship date of the backordered item. Backordered items are shipped as soon as they are available.

Please be assured that you will not be charged for any item until it is shipped. If for any reason you wish to cancel a backordered item prior to its shipment, please contact us at 1-800-866-6464 and we will be happy to assist you.

Pre-sell Items
Pre-sell items are items that are not yet in stock but available for advanced purchase on our site. Pre-sell items are shipped as soon as they are available. We will notify you of the status of your Pre-sell item via email updates and confirmations. Please be assured that you will not be charged for any item until it has shipped

Please note: The actual delivery date of your order depends on the shipping method you select.


Maximum Purchase Policy

We regret that we must limit orders to no more than four (4) units of any item with a maximum purchase of $500 per customer. If you have any questions please contact us at 1-800-866-6464 or via Email and we will be happy to assist.

For Pro members additional purchase limits are as follows:

No more than 3 of the same item or 24 products in the transaction.
No more than 8 of the same item for discontinued products
No more than $500 per transaction, per day

Purchases of more than $4,000 in any twelve month period may trigger a review of a member’s purchasing history and professional documentation, and M·A·C may require the member to provide additional professional documentation in order for the member to maintain their M·A·C Pro Membership privileges, including their M·A·C PRO Membership discount.

Unless the member has received prior written approval from M·A·C, purchases of more than $6,000 in any twelve month period will trigger an automatic suspension of the member’s M·A·C PRO Membership discount and may trigger a suspension of all M·A·C Pro Membership privileges. M·A·C may require the member to provide additional professional documentation in order for the member to reinstate their M·A·C Pro Membership discount, as well as their other M·A·C PRO Membership privileges.


Offer Codes

To redeem an offer code, simply enter your offer code in the text box marked “Offer Code” on the Billing page during the Checkout process.

When an offer code is accepted, it will be displayed on the “Order Review” page.

Important Notes: One (1) Offer Code may be used per order. Promotional offers and discounts may not be applied to the purchase of M·A·C Gift Cards or eGift Cards.


Sales Tax


We are required by law to collect state sales tax on orders being shipped to the following states - AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, TN, TX, VA, VT, WA, WI and all Canadian provinces 
*Purchases paid for with M·A·C Gift Cards are subject to applicable sales tax. No sales tax is charged when buying M·A·C Gift Cards.

Order Inquiries

With a M·A·C Account, you can check the status of your most recent orders by visiting our Order Status page. This is the easiest and fastest way to get the most current information regarding your M·A·C Cosmetics Online orders.

For orders shipped within the United States, when you click on Order Status page, you will be prompted to log in with your Email address and password. An order summary page will provide you with detailed information about your current and past orders. After your order is shipped, your tracking number, if available, will be displayed. To track your order via the carrier's Web site, you may click on the tracking number to view the delivery status of your order. Please note: some carriers may not have tracking information available for up to 24 business hours after the order is shipped.

For orders shipped within Canada, shipping status is not available Online. You may call the Canadian fulfillment center for information regarding your order at 1-800-387-6707. Please refer to your order number whenever contacting M·A·C Customer Service.


Order Cancellations

Occasionally, orders or parts of an order are cancelled by our system for various reasons. Some reasons are:

Item(s) not available.
Difficulty in processing payment information.
Cannot ship to address provided.
Duplicate order was placed.
Cancelled due to a customer request.

If your order is cancelled, you will receive an Email notice to explain the reason for the cancellation. You will not be billed for any cancelled items. If you are interested in placing a new order or if you have questions about a cancelled order, please contact M·A·C Cosmetics Online Customer Service for US orders at 1-800-866-6464 or via Email.

For orders shipped within Canada, shipping status is not available Online. You may call the Canadian fulfillment center for information regarding your order at 1-800-387-6707 ext. 8555. Please refer to your order number whenever contacting M·A·C PRO Customer Service.
