I live in São Paulo, which is the biggest city in Brazil. I’m always on the go and hardly have any time to do my own makeup, usually applying in cabs or on the plane. My makeup style is very urban and simple. I love to draw attention to one feature of the face. I feel naked without my red lips – Russian Red is the king! When I choose smoky eyes, I like to do it with Smolder, Tarnish or Teddy Eye Kohls, lots of Haute & Naughty Mascara and just tinted lip conditioner on lips.

Now-a-days: lips, lips and lips! Brazilian women are obsessed with lips, whether pink, coral or of course RED. The skin must look very natural. Women like to hear, “Oh, how amazing your skin looks!” not, “Which foundation are you wearing?” Bronzing products are classic and now we’re using them to create shadow and to emphasize certain aspects of the face. Not all over the face anymore. Refined Golden: it’s an amazing shade since it has a subtle shimmer.

I always feel like I’m at a party with creative, interesting, beautiful people. I never get stuck in a routine, and there’s always something new and exciting coming up!! Terry Barber said it best: working at M·A·C is like working at Studio 54!!!!

I did a wonderful shoot in Paris with a Brazilian actress that was amazing. She allowed me to change her brows by making them bigger and higher. I wanted her to look high-drama, high-glamour; high-beauty!!
